WINDSCREEN REPAIR KIT

Windshield damage repair kit for car windows. The kit is designed for small chips, usually caused by the impact of small stones.

After using the repair kit, chipping and deep scratches caused by cracks will become almost invisible and the windshield will be protected against further enlargement of the damage.

APPLICATION:

✅ Clean and degrease the glass on both sides. Also remove any residue from the glass.

✅ Place the applicator with the screw (plunger) over the crack so that the end of the applicator contacts the centre of the crack a little tighter, then unscrew the plunger from the applicator.

✅ Place the correct amount of adhesive in the applicator (depending on the size of the crack). Usually 5-10 drops are sufficient for smaller cracks (4-7 mm diameter).

✅ Screw the plunger into the applicator as far as it will go, then unscrew and screw the plunger into the applicator again (preferably several times) so that the glue can get into as many nooks and crannies as possible while pushing air out of the damage. While screwing the plunger in, observe that the glue spreads into the damage, filling it completely. If necessary, add another portion of glue. The glue should fill the damage completely.

✅ Unscrew the piston from the applicator. Wait for the vacuum to extract the air from under the applicator. Screw the plunger back in as far as it will go. Make sure the damage is completely filled. Unscrew the piston and applicator.

✅ Apply 2 drops of adhesive to the sealed defect and cover with a protective film, ironing it gently so that no air bubbles remain underneath.

✅ Expose to the sun for 10 minutes or use a UV lamp. The curing process of the adhesive only takes place under UV light. Use the supplied razor blade to scrape off excess glue (in quick gentle 90° movements, without worrying about scratching the glass).

✅ For a longer longitudinal crack, apply the adhesive along the length of the crack (without using an applicator) then line the entire length of the crack with protective film. Continue according to the previous instructions.Repeat the procedure if there are any shortcomings in the gluing.
